This role is essential as IT SAP Application Trainer for all topics related to the ERP system SAP. The other primary responsibility is to maintaining and supporting internal business applications associated to the ERP system process.
Tasks
The
SAP Application Support & Trainer's main tasks are:
- 1st, 2nd line support for the ERP software system (SAP, S4H), working alongside internal team
- User Training support and problem solving related to SAP System (SD/MM/FI/CO/MRO)
- Act as a liaison and key trainer between multiple departments/group IT teams
- Represent and support local users in the clear definition and documentation of their business requirements
- Create testing scenarios, recording of test results and related data for all SAP projects/changes coordinated with our group teams on global level
- Work as a member of IT projects regarding the ERP software system, providing first hand documentation
- Carry out and coordinate testing for SAP changes/functional & UAT testing
- Create documents for end-user training and support training on new or changed SAP functionalities
- Maintain and modify existing SAP workflows with the developers in-house
- Work with your team, under the guidance of our Developers
Requirements
The ideal
SAP Applications Support Trainer should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree (optional but preferred) in areas such as Management Information Systems (MIS) or a related discipline.
- SAP Certified Application Associate in relevant modules
- Advanced certifications, like SAP Certified Development Specialist or SAP Certified Technology Associate, are a plus
- Training-specific certifications, such as SAP Certified Trainer
- Prior experience in delivering IT or software training, ideally in an ERP environment
- Hands-on involvement in conducting workshops, creating training materials, and providing user support
- Familiarity with training diverse teams
- Proven track record as a workshop champion, with the ability to motivate and engage participants
- Exposure to ERP systems is advantageous, particularly in SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, or CO
- Practical knowledge of Business Warehouse (BW), Power BI, and tools for data visualization and analytics
