We’re seeking a dedicated Driver Trainer for our Basingstoke and Bognor Regis locations. This role is Monday to Friday with some flexibility needed.
Working closely with the Driver Operations Team at both sites, you’ll play a key role in supporting our teams by delivering driver training and assessments for both new and current team members. You’ll lead by example, championing safe, economical, and professional driving standards and acting as an ambassador for excellence in driving. This is a unique opportunity to join us on our journey of continuous improvement and innovation, and to contribute to the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of our products to customers.
Essential Ingredients- Holder of a current and up to date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence CPC and a Class 1 license
- An experienced Driver Trainer or Driving Assessor
- Have an excellent knowledge of current Transport Legislation
The Recipe In this collaborative role, you’ll partner with the distribution team to ensure new drivers are smoothly onboarded, meeting all Company policies, health and safety guidelines, and legal requirements. You’ll also support our existing drivers with ongoing training and development to help them excel in their roles.
We’re passionate about personal development, and you’ll have the chance to implement a training schedule that supports drivers working towards higher category licenses through Warburtons.
With previous experience in Distribution, you’ll have a strong knowledge of transport legislation, including driver regulations, the mobile working time directive, and the Highway Code. A current CPC is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a passion for coaching and developing others.

About Us Basingstoke Distribution Depot is proud of our One Team culture and the role we play in distributing our freshly baked products to our customers. Basingstoke has around 80 colleagues working across distribution and warehousing from a wide range of nationalities, who support in the delivery of over one million items per week. Our drivers pick and deliver to West London from Watford to Croydon, Including Central London as far as Battersea, Fulham, and Bayswater.
Bognor Regis Distribution Depot is proud of our One Team culture and the role we play in distributing our freshly baked products to our customers. Bognor Regis has over 100 colleagues working across distribution and warehousing from a wide range of nationalities, who support in the delivery of over one million items per week to around 1000 stores. Our drivers pick and deliver to stores as far as Poole, Winchester, Aldershot, Weybridge, Leatherhead, Crawley & Eastbourne and anywhere in between.
