We are seeking an experienced educational developer, ideally with prior experience of working with healthcare and/or science educators, to join a small team in the Centre for Innovation and Development in Education for a fixed term period. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of the Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare and Biomedical Education as well as the effective development and delivery of other continuing professional learning activities and strategic workstreams within the Centre. The role is suitable for predominantly remote working if desired, but with planned attendance onsite for specific activities
.
Key attributes of the successful applicant are likely to include:
- A successful track record in educational development in the higher education sector.
- Experience in teaching and assessment at postgraduate certificate level, including planning, delivery and evaluation.
- Experience supporting applicants and assessing applications for Advance HE Fellowship in all categories, including ideally Principal Fellowship.
- An ability and willingness to work flexibly and to independently prioritise and organise workload to meet deadlines across a variety of activities.
Experience of healthcare, medical and/or biomedical or science education in university and practice settings would be an advantage.
