Team/Role Overview The Head of Early Career Apprenticeships & DE&I Execution is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over apprenticeship strategy and execution of attracting early career talent.
What you'll do - Manages a team of professionals and serves as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a proven track record of transformational leadership
- Develops a detailed recruiting strategy for apprenticeships to meet business needs for talent acquisitions. Collaborates closely with HR partners and business on leading Early Career DE&I partnerships and measures program effectiveness
- Leverages data to provide insights for the business on identifying future roles/resources; succession and development requirements
- Leads consultation on thought leadership for Early Career as it relates to apprenticeships, change management and organizational development
- Provide market and candidate intelligence, that enables hiring decisions to be made
- Collaborates with the Business, HRA/Recruiting/L&D, Talent & Diversity Partners, external experts etc., globally to execute successfully on the strategy
- In partnership with the business, HR partners, universities and key partners identifies, assesses, coaches, and develops a diverse talent pool for the various businesses
- Initiates and Designs, implements and communicates key processes related to apprenticeship programming, early career roles, talent development, performance management etc.
- Ensures that the apprenticeship programs and Early Career programs are effectively analysed, reported and actioned
- Participates in ongoing communication across the global business to engage all global employees in initiatives, processes and updates
- Drives the coaching and assessment strategy, including identifying appropriate coaches for the business/region
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we'll need from you - Progressive HR experience
- Experience with people management
- Demonstrated core recruiting and leadership skills
- Demonstrated identification and assessment skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
