2.The Scope
This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join The Security Institute at an important phase of its growth and development.
To develop and deliver training in a range of areas that support the objectives of The Security Institute.
You will work closely with the Institute CEO, managers and Institute members.
3. About you
You will be an experienced training and assessor who can work with a wide range of customers on courses.
4.Main Duties & Responsibilities (not necessarily in order)
- To develop and deliver engaging training sessions to customers.
- To review and update course content and materials to ensure that it meet the needs of customers.
- To work with the Institute management and administrative staff to ensure smooth administrative operations
- To market and advertise training courses in accordance with our marketing and communications plan
- To produce reports as required by the CEO and scheme owner.
- To contribute to the security education development programme
- To write content as required for the members portal and the Institute website
- To represent the Institute in a professional manner and to act at all times in a manner which will not damage its reputation
5.Essential
- A qualified trainer (Min level 3 Award in Education & Training, Cert Ed, PTTLS or CTTLS)
- Minimum of 3 years training experience
- Experience of security training
- Self employed or a business owner
- Experience or knowledge of the protective security sector
- A commitment to the organisation’s mission and purpose
- Experience of training assessment and quality assurance
- You must have a DBS check and relevant insurances in place
- A flexible but professional approach
6. Desirable
- Level 5 qualification
- Trained as a SABRE Assessor and knowledge of BRE programmes
- Delivered SIA training programmes
- Able to deliver train the trainer programmes
