This is a remote position with the expectation that the successful candidate will visit our Basildon office once a month. This role includes performance-based bonuses, rewarding your success in achieving results and success in apprenticeship starts.
About the Role:
As an Account Manager for Apprenticeships & Training, you’ll go beyond traditional account management – you’ll be a trusted partner to clients, learners, and stakeholders. In this role, you’ll build relationships with new and existing clients, promote apprenticeship programs, and help learners succeed. This dynamic position involves exceeding sales targets, supporting clients with Training Needs Analysis (TNA), and ensuring smooth onboarding and progress for apprentices. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Client Relationship Management: Forge lasting relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring Get Set UK is their preferred partner for apprenticeship and training solutions.
- Target Achievement: Drive business growth by actively following up on leads, meeting monthly apprenticeship start targets, and ensuring learners stay on track.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure clients and learners are fully supported in their apprenticeship journey, helping drive retention and positive outcomes.
- Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems (PICS), complete all necessary documentation, and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build collaborative networks with community organizations, training providers, and employers, creating opportunities for learners and meeting their developmental needs.
- Promotion of EDI and Safety Standards: Actively uphold safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion values while promoting health and safety and the PREVENT agenda.

- Clear Communication Skills: You excel in both written and verbal communication, effectively building rapport with clients, colleagues, and learners.
- Interest in Apprenticeships: You’re passionate to learn more about the apprenticeships space and bring your skills to this industry.
- Technology Proficient: You’re comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools, with a high level of proficiency in MS Office.
