Learning & Development Manager
Working alongside the People & Culture team, you will own, develop and review Liquidline's learning and development strategy working with internal and external stakeholders to identify learning needs, and the relevant solutions. You will spend time developing and creating a clear L&D plan for all areas of the business, ensuring alignment with company and technical competencies and will be comfortable delivering training workshops / sessions virtually, or in person.
You will work closely with the Head of People & Culture to carry out learning needs analysis, and also support the Technical Training department for our Field Based Operations Team.
The Role - Learning & Development Manager
- To coordinate and manage all leadership and management development training.
- To manage design and deliver first class training workshops, create toolkits and fact sheets for all staff across the business.
- To manage the L&D budget to ensure clear return on investment.
- To lead on implementing a Learning Management System, taking clear ownership and supporting the Technical Training Team to ensure the system is fit for purpose.
- To work with the Head of People & Culture to establish learning gaps, and bridge these with bespoke training sessions.
- To take ownership on the Apprenticeship programme, ensuring from hire to course completion all apprentices have a mentor, and regular reviews in place to support them post and during qualification.
- To act as a central point of contact for all training, and L&D matters.
- To support the People & Culture team in succession planning and talent forecasting through establishing training courses.
What You Will Need In The Role Of Learning & Development Manager
- Prior experience of working within a Learning & Development function at an Advisory or Manager level.
- CIPD Level 5 in Organisation L&D would be an advantage to your application, but is not essential.
- Proven ability to design and deliver training workshops and sessions to staff of all levels.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor your communication to suit the audience.
- Able to build strong working relationships internally, and externally with third part providers where necessary.
- Commercially astute, able to manage budgets and track spend and ROI.
