Automotive Parts Advisor

BP Rolls is a locally based, family-run automotive business in Andover, Hampshire, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Automotive Parts Advisor to join our Automotive Service Centre team!
In this role, you’ll become the go-to expert for automotive parts, providing exceptional service and expert advice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Be the Automotive Expert: As a trusted Parts Advisor, assist the technician team in selecting the right automotive parts and accessories for our customer vehicles. Whether it's for repairs, routine maintenance, or upgrades, your knowledge will help us keep our Customers’ vehicles in top condition.
- Customer Service with a Personal Touch: At BP Rolls, we pride ourselves on building long-lasting relationships with our customers and Commercial clients.
- Quick and Accurate Solutions: Use your parts advisor knowledge to identify parts efficiently and accurately. Your expertise will ensure the team have the inventory required at the right times.
- Work with Integrity: Represent BP Rolls' core values — honesty, reliability, and customer-focused service. Treat customers and colleagues with the respect and care they deserve.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of stock levels, ensure the stock is accounted for and securely stored. Organize and assist with the ordering of new stock to meet business demand.
- Team Spirit: Work alongside a supportive, close-knit, long standing, Parts team where collaboration and communication are key. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our Service Centre and delivering to required timescales.
Requirements:
- Passion for the industry: A deep knowledge and enthusiasm for the automotive world, with experience gained in a previous Parts advisory or apprenticeship role.
- Detail-Oriented: Accuracy is essential — ensuring the right parts are ordered, and the technician team have suitable availability of parts is a key part of the role.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computerized systems for inventory, ordering, and part cataloguing.
- Team Player: BP Rolls is a family business, and being a team player is vital to our success. You’ll need to collaborate and support your colleagues to create a positive work environment and deliver to required workload requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive Parts Advisor, sales, customer service, or a related role is essential
- · Experience with computerized inventory systems and parts catalogues.
