This course covers the following:
- Introduction to Data Analysis
Within this unit, learners will look at what it takes to be a Data Analyst and will get a glimpse into the day in the life of someone in the role. They will also learn about the history and evolution of the role. - Practical Statistics
Within this unit, learners will learn about data, including the difference between structured and unstructured, the legislation and what constitutes as ethical data use. - Data Wrangling
Within this unit, learners will explore core database concepts and will learn how to choose data types to administer databases. They will also learn how data is stored, managed, and distributed in line with data security standards and legislation - Data Visualisation and Data Modelling
Within this unit, learners will understand why data visualisation is important to the role and will be able to explain the principles of descriptive analytics, predictive analytics and prescriptive analytics.
