We are nowlooking for a Learning and Development Manager to join our amazing People Team.
What you’llbe doing
The role iscontinuing to build on the success of our L&D Team, who are responsible forthe training of almost 1000 internal team members, plus the training of ourfranchise sites who operate worldwide.
You willhave a team of three direct reports who partner with each of our businessbrands and work collaboratively to deliver blended learning content.
This role will be a senior member of the People Leadershipteam, and the gatekeeper of the Company values and leadership behaviours. Witha coaching first approach, this role leads a team of L&D professionals toensure all team members are set up for success in their roles and can developcareers with Gravity. With accountability for the performance managementprocess, career pathways, learning content, and leadership development, thisrole is crucial in the business achieving its strategic goals. This role willbe responsible for delivering workshops with the SLT to develop leadershipcapability, and work alongside the Chief People and Culture Officer on seniorlevel talent and succession plans.
Your responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
Lead in the creation and delivery of the L&D strategyand plan, ensuring team objectives are aligned to the overall businessstrategy.
Work towards creating a collaborative DE&I Strategy.
Effective management of the L&D budget to maximiseimpact.
Accountable for the Apprenticeship Levy Fund, ensuring fullutilisation to support business goals.
Leadership and Culture
Lead a team of L&D professionals in the delivery of theL&D objectives, ensuring alignment with the business values and that theteam are role modelling the leadership behaviours.
Develop strong leadership capability within the seniorleadership team, working alongside the wider people team to promote a coachingculture.
Embed the Company values and leadership behaviours throughall L&D touchpoints.
Business partner the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) toidentify where learning interventions could support their business aims throughskills gap analysis, working with them to improve the L&D offering.
Coach senior leaders to develop them professionally andpersonally.
Performance and Talent
Ownership of the performance management process, ensuringline managers are appropriately trained to develop a culture of continuousfeedback.
Embed the talent pipeline process, to ensure we identify anddevelop talent within the business.
Create a narrative to describe Gravity’s career pathways,and communicate this widely within the business, ensuring it becomes anintegral part of performance discussions.
Develop coaching skills within the business, utilisingagreed on coaching models and principals to drive consistency.
Your skills and experienceStrong communicationskills, both written and verbal
Level 5 qualified coach (EMCC or equivalent)
Experience leading a small team of L&D professionals
Experience of creating a leadership development programme
CIPD or relevant L&D qualification (desirable)
Full UK Driving Licence
MBTI Qualification
