The Commission for Tertiary Education and Research (CTER) is a Welsh Government body that works to improve the quality and sustainability of post-school education and training across Wales. The Commission is responsible for providing advice and guidance on the development of policy, strategy and research for the Welsh Government, as well as leading on the development and delivery of the Welsh Government's Tertiary Education and Research Strategy. CTER works collaboratively with universities, colleges, employers and other stakeholders to ensure that the Welsh tertiary education system is of the highest quality and is delivering the best possible outcomes for learners and employers.
