The Salford and Trafford Engineering Group Training Association Ltd (STEGTA) is a not-for-profit organisation which provides engineering apprenticeships and training to young people in the North West of England. With over 40 years of experience, STEGTA have developed to become one of the leading engineering centers of excellence in the region. They offer a wide range of qualifications and apprenticeships, as well as providing support for employers and apprentices throughout their programme. STEGTA's main focus is to provide technical engineering training and development to ensure their apprentices have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the industry. STEGTA also works in partnership with local authorities, schools and universities to ensure young people have access to the highest level of engineering education.
