The West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) is an organisation that works to improve the prosperity, sustainability and quality of life for all its citizens. It is a combined authority that is made up of 5 local councils: Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield. WYCA works with these councils to create a strong regional economy, improve transport links, promote skills and create jobs. It also works with partners from the public, private and third sectors to ensure that West Yorkshire remains a great place to live and work.
