The Forensic Science and Criminology curriculum area is a dynamic and growing area, having recently received a total remodelling of the classrooms and laboratory areas. The key focus in the curriculum area is to provide learners with the vocational skills required to complement their academic development, increasing their employability and potential for success in future study. An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated person to join our highly dedicated team of science teachers as a Lecturer in Forensic Science. The successful candidate will ideally hold, or working towards, a post-graduate qualification in a related discipline, show a willingness to develop the skills required to be an outstanding teacher and can inspire students within this subject area. In addition to this, applicants should ideally have teaching experience and hold, or be prepared to work towards, a Level 5 teaching qualification. An assessor qualification would be desirable. For the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College’s premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply.
