You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Assistant Director for Foundation and Learning Support and Section Manager within the Foundation section, to enable the successful delivery of courses and provide the required support to SEND learners and their parents, carers and families who attend the college provision. You will undertake a wide range of administrative responsibilities including producing correspondence and reports, diary management and communicating effectively with students, staff, carers, families and external agencies. You will also actively improve student attendance by identifying and acting immediately on problems relating to student attendance, punctuality and progress. You will engage ‘at risk’ learners in person and over the telephone, monitor and maintain student records. You will have a minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience, with experience of working with learners with SEND. You should also have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, and will have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
