We are looking for a dynamic and skilled pharmacist with a passion for education and development to work with our forward-thinking team to support and influence the future pharmacist workforce. This post has been created to support the delivery of our undergraduate pharmacy placement programme and provide leadership for our 3rd year Foundation Pharmacists. The post holder will also contribute to the pharmacy workforce strategy supporting the implementation of the initial education and training of pharmacists and advanced pharmacist development programme. We are looking for someone with educational supervision experience either with trainee or foundation pharmacists or equivalent. The post holder will also be expected to have developed skills in this area through a teaching or training qualification (or equivalent). In addition, the post holder will require skills in communication, organisation, negotiation, adaptability, and innovative thinking. This will include managing their choice of optional modules (eg prescribing) within the diploma and working with operational leads to co-ordinate their rotations and educational support. Support the Bradford university teacher practitioner with organisation and co-ordination of pharmacy undergraduate placements from Bradford and Huddersfield university. Support the pharmacy workforce development team with delivery of the Medicines Management and pharmacy (MMPS) workforce strategy and Leeds Trust Learning, Education and Training (LET) strategy. Attendance at local and regional workforce meetings Provide an educational supervisory role for trainee pharmacist and/or Foundation pharmacists.
