Job Details Job Title: ALS Programme Lead Department: Learning Support Campus: Havant / South Downs Salary: Grade 6 Spine Point 27- £44,672.02 0.2 FTE Job Share Contract Type: Fixed Term About the Role To support the Director of SEND in delivering high quality ALS teaching, learning and assessment throughout designated areas of provision which meet the needs of the community, employers, develops students’ employability skills and enables progression. Responsibilities You will be responsible for: To support the Director of SEND in conducting performance development reviews for teaching and support staff throughout designated areas of provision. To manage the ALS teaching and SEND Coordinator teams to ensure greater financial efficiencies including effective ALS teaching timetabling and initial assessments. Lead ALS Teaching Teams and work with the pastoral team to ensure excellent student outcomes, high levels of student satisfaction including learner voice, progression and ensuring an effective use of the capability process. To work with the Director of SEND to ensure that High Needs funding and disadvantage funding are used efficiently, delivering the best possible service, whilst maintaining financial viability moving forward. To maintain and promote rigorous standards of quality in all assessment and verification activities and to feedback any concerns regarding workplace practices. To lead on developing advanced pedagogy within the ALS teams and to develop inspirational and effective learning environments and resources.
