That means ensuring that we provide high quality, innovative and impactful careers and employability services and a cutting-edge employer facing provision.</p> <p> As an Apprenticeship Coach, you will join a dynamic team of dedicated staff to enhance a high-quality apprenticeship journey by working with academic experts and professional staff at the University and a diverse employer client base. Specifically, you will be supporting apprentices on Policing and working alongside a number of high-profile employers. You will also be engaging with the course teams to enhance your discipline knowledge and use your organisational strengths to support the delivery of work-based learning modules on campus.</p> <p> Your role will be to undertake frequent and regular progress reviews with apprentices and their employers, conducted digitally, via telephone and in the Apprentice's workplace to support the apprenticeship journey and the University's compliance with funding rules and good practice in vocational learning at higher levels.</p> <p> Travel will be required to visit employer locations both in Sheffield and further afield across the UK at times so the ability to travel independently is needed.</p> <p> We are looking for someone who has experience of working in the relevant sector, but we do not require you to have registered status with any specific professional body. Recent demonstrable experience of supporting learning using coaching and mentoring skills is also essential.
