The Directorate of Student and Academic Services (SAAS) leads on the development and provision of outstanding student facing services. The Directorate is responsible for ensuring that students have an excellent experience and provides services across the student and academic lifecycle from enrolment to graduation, covering everything from wellbeing services to ensuring new courses are set up correctly. The Directorate is at the centre of a transformation programme as we seek to make services which underpin our student experience more efficient and effective. Over the next year, we will reconfigure the ways we work, reducing silos, making better use of systems and improving compliance with regulations, policies and processes. The Apprenticeship Compliance Coordinator will provide a broad range of skilled administration support services on behalf of the University in support of apprenticeship administration and compliance. Working for the Apprenticeships, Delivery and Compliance team the post holder will support the apprenticeship compliance work across the University. You will assist with the development of the APTEM system for apprenticeship data management, the completion of compliance checks and transfer compliant records to SITS. You will develop and maintain effective administration systems for apprenticeship compliance management, and collect, collate and present data on a variety of topics, as needed, supporting the University’s monthly ILR submission. You will have a degree or equivalent experience which demonstrates comparable skills and ability to make decisions and solve problems, assemble, evaluate and analyse information, communicate effectively, and adopt a proactive and self-managing work style. You will have experience of arranging events and meetings, and effectively managing electronic database and paper-based filing and information systems. Prior experience of administrative roles, with experience of working in a higher or further education environment in a quality assurance, partnership or apprenticeship setting an advantage.
