We are an outstanding provider and hold the coveted Advanced Specialist Accreditation from the National Autistic Society. The ASD/ADHD Assessor role will be a freelance role responsible for administering ADOS or ADI-R assessments in accordance with established guidelines and protocols. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills and an ability to build strong working relationships with members of staff across all departments as well as external organisations. Within this role, you will be involved in conducting and reviewing autism assessments; analysing results to produce diagnostic reports; and working with a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to review reports for individuals suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will use your in depth understanding of ASD to support people throughout the diagnostic process, and you will play a key part in the development of support plans, using your clinical judgment and experience to make diagnostic decisions. Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: · Doctorate in Clinical Psychology · Registration with the HCPC · Minimum two years' experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and conducting ADOS-2 assessments module 4 · Experience of Autism diagnosis · Trained in the following gold standard tools: ADOS and ADI-R. We will consider applications from Speech and Language Therapists with an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy who are not Clinical Psychologists but meet the other essential criteria. Working Hours This is a freelance position. The pay is up to £450 per assessment, dependent on both experience and qualifications.
