You will join us on a<strong> bank basis </strong>and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of<strong> £25.56 - £39.86 per hour.</strong></p> <p><strong>The Associate Lecturer in Multi-Skills Construction role:</strong></p> <p>Our Construction department has been growing over the past few years and there will be a continued growth in the coming years. The Construction team are very dynamic and creative in their approach to delivering an outstanding experience for learners wishing to pursue a career in construction. Do you feel you would fit into this team? </p> <p>If you answered Yes, then you will be self-motivated and want to inspire the next generation of construction workers. You will have relevant industry experience and Level 3 qualification in a related subject and be able to use most Microsoft applications, especially Excel and Word. </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities of our</strong><strong>Associate Lecturer in Multi-Skills Construction:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.</li><li>Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.</li><li>Undertaking administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.</li><li>Taking an active role in the achievement of high individual student retention and success rates, meeting or surpassing the relevant targets for each.</li><li>Developing curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration literacy and numeracy development, and equality and diversity.</li><li>Understanding personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.</li><li>Keeping up-to-date with current issues, changes, and policies relating to the educational sector.</li><li>Participating in marketing activities and promote the College for the purpose of gaining sponsorship, advertising, good public relations and increased recruitment.</li></ul> <p><strong>Our ideal Associate Lecturer in Multi-Skills Construction should have the below skills and experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Level 3 (or equivalent) in related subject</li><li>An understanding of safeguarding vulnerable groups</li><li>Relevant subject experience</li><li>Experience teaching and assessing learners</li></ul> <p><strong>Closing date for applications: 4/11/2024</strong></p> <p>If you would like to learn more about our <strong>Associate Lecturer in Multi-Skills Construction </strong>role, then please click ‘<strong>apply</strong>’ today!</p> <p>You will be asked to upload a CV before starting an application form for this role.
