Clinical Development Facilitator Job Overview An existing opportunity is available for a registered Allied Health Professional or Nurse to join the Professional Development Department as a Clinical Development Facilitator which will focus on supporting all the pre-registration Allied Health Professional and Nursing students within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC), along with the post-registration clinical students. The Clinical Development Facilitator will be clinically based and work in partnership with the clinical practice areas, with a focus on the clinical registered workforce’s maintenance and development of competency and the clinical students’ learning and assessment in practice. The Clinical Development Facilitator will also support the Return to Practice framework, ensuring that the student/learner receives the appropriate placement, mentorship and assessment in practice. Main Duties Include Work with the Professional Development Managers for Pre-registration and Post-Registration Students (Allied Health Professionals and Nursing) to ensure that clinical placements are in line with the regulatory requirements and the clinical area has an educational audit, and if there is an associated action plan, ensures that it is adhered to and completed in a timely manner by the clinical teams. Work with the Professional Development Managers for the Pre-Registration and Post-Registration students (Allied Health Professionals and Nursing) and Higher Education Institutes to ensure the appropriate allocations of students/learners in various clinical areas. Work with the Professional Development Managers and Higher education institutes to increase placement capacity with in the community setting. Working for our organisation Be Part of Our Team...
