Who are we looking for? Cambridge Education Group is looking for a Centre Director to join our OnCampus Aston centre management's team. With proven experience in a senior leadership role and a strong understanding of U.K Higher Education, the Centre Director will be required to support and deliver the centre strategy for the development and growth of the centre, leading to increasing volumes of students progressing through to our partner(s). Similarly, the post holder will have a key role in building on the professional relationship with the partner and affiliate universities to maximise student progression and identify opportunities for further collaboration. From a both leadership and managerial position, the post holder will lead and manage the Centre Management Team to ensure delivery of high quality teaching and learning, effective administrative systems and resources are in place, and students receive best in class support across all areas of their engagement at centre. You will share a focus for collaborating so that together we can improve the lives of learners around the world. As a Centre Director, you will: Deliver high levels of academic success, progression to partner, student satisfaction staff engagement and financial performance. Take a leading role in developing and managing the partner relationship including ensuing the smooth operation and organisation of partnership governance meetings and taking direct ownership of the partnership ‘issues and risk’ logs. Be accountable to the Director of Global Study Centres (and other senior managers as directed) for the performance of all activities of the centre and ensure performance standards and KPIs are continuously met and exceeded. To work collaboratively with fellow centre leaders, central teams and all OnCampus stakeholders to ensure the Centre complies with all relevant policies and standards, for example academic, quality, financial, compliance. Key Objectives: Manage the resources necessary to deliver the centre’s academic programmes in accordance with the procedures, policies and requirements of OnCampus. Lead and manage the Centre staff in the delivery of the curriculum and ensure that the standards set by the host University are achieved and maintaine.d. Embrace OnCampus objectives and ensure, with the resources available, the best possible learning experience and progression opportunities for the centre’s students. Person Specification: Bachelor’s degree (essential). A postgraduate qualification e.g. PGCE, MBA (essential). SFHEA or willing to achieve within 12 months (essential). Extensive experience in a senior leadership role in an academic environment. (essential). An understanding of UK higher education and the needs and requirements of international students (essential). A track record of creative approaches to developing and exploiting opportunities in higher education or related sectors (essential). Relevant teaching experience (desirable). Demonstrates cross-cultural awareness and understanding. An ability to manage resources effectively and efficiently, both human and physical. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills including native speaker fluency in English. Exceptional management and administrative skills. Proven leadership skills.
