Be part of our exclusive community, where excellence is celebrated, and every contribution is valued.<br/><br/>As a Curriculum Manager at Newham College, you will be at the helm of a dedicated team within a specific curriculum or subject area. Your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including teaching and assessing various courses within your subject area, serving as a course tutor for student groups, and ensuring rigorous quality assurance and improvement processes as the primary internal verifier within your program area across different levels of expertise in your subject specialization. You will also be responsible for performing all related duties in alignment with the School Quality Improvement initiatives, Key Performance Indicators, and strategic priorities of the College, ensuring adherence to the College’s Teaching, Learning, and Assessment standards. Central to your role will be the cultivation and maintenance of positive student behaviour and attitudes, with regular contributions to the college duty manager schedule. Moreover, you will be expected to uphold exemplary standards in tutoring and pastoral care, ensuring the well-being and academic success of every student under your guidance.<br/><br/><em>Essential qualifications include a </em><em>bachelor’s</em><em> degree in a Core Subject such as Language Arts, Numeracy, or Digital Skills. Professional qualifications such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.<br/><br/></em><em>Desired qualifications encompass a </em><em>master’s</em><em> degree, additional certifications such as Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) training, and experience teaching diverse student populations.
