Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the required number of learners in line with KPI’s
- Act as the primary contact for both the learner and employer
- Plan and deliver remote 121 teaching, learning and assessment in accordance with Eden delivery models
- Arrange learner bookings in accordance with the delivery calendar
- Accurately record Guided Learning Hours (GLH), Impact of Learning via the learners Personal Learning Plan
- Actively promote, support, encourage the learner to continually update GLH learning log booklet prior to 121 visit
- Review learner progress in accordance with operational, quality requirements, KPI’s
- Motivate/drive learners to achieve in line with planned end date
- Report learner progress and engagement issues through the internal Cause for Concern (CFC process)
- Monitor Health & Safety, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, Safeguarding within employer settings in line with Eden’s health and wellbeing processes & policies
- Provide effective IAG service to both internal and external clients/customers
- Manage own time effectively to progress learners including completion of paperwork and updating of systems to minimum standards
- Attend the centre as required to undertake IQA quality checks, caseload review/121, peer support, training
- Maintain communication with Skills Assessor, Skills Teacher, FS Tutor to maximise the progression and achievement of learners
- Promote Eden Training Solutions at every opportunity with employers and learners, as well as all other internal and external parties
- Actively market business and learner progression opportunities
- Carry out any additional duties as reasonably requested by line management
Qualifications
Mandatory level qualifications:
- Good standard of general education including GCSE (or equivalent) English and maths (A-C)
- Children’s Care Learning & Development (Level 3), Childcare & Education (Level 3), Early Years Care & Education (Level 3) or equivalent/higher qualification
- Foundation/honours degree in Early Childhood Studies
Desirable level qualifications:
- Teacher, training qualifications or equivalent (eg: PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert-Ed)
- TAQA or equivalent qualification (eg: D32/33, A1, CAVA)
Skills & Experience
- Experience of 121 teaching, learning and assessment
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload
- Good ICT/digital skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire individuals to learn and achieve through face to face and remote media interactions
- Experience of Ofsted Inspection
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem solving skills
- Honesty and reliability
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Supervisory experience

Other requirements
- Full and clean driving licence
- Able to work flexible locations, if required
- Full enhanced DBS check will be required
