In May 2017 Gen2 joined City & Guilds and became a City & Guilds business.</p> <p> Gen2 is based in a picturesque Cumbria and has been recently awarded Ofsted Good in all areas. We offer excellent opportunity to work from our new and modern centres based in Carlisle, Workington and Ulverston. The successful candidate will be contracted to one of these locations and Gen2 will cover the expense of travelling between the sites (when required). </p><p>We offer an amazing teaching opportunity. As ethnic minority groups and disabled people are currently under-represented within the Group, we particularly encourage and welcome applications from these communities.</p><p><b> About the role</b></p> <p><b> </b></p><p>The role of the Electrical Trainer/Assessor is to deliver, assess and where necessary offer support to learners engaged in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering courses up to level 3, in accordance with the awarding body guidelines. The main focus of this role is in the instrumentation specialism. </p><p>The role will also include the progressive development of the Electrical & engineering curriculum, and the material associated with its delivery.</p> <p> The role may also include other tasks as directed by the Lead Trainer.</p> <p> The delivery and assessment of Electrical engineering courses up to level three.</p> <p> The development of Electrical engineering course delivery material and ensuring compliance with awarding body standards.</p> <p> </p><p><b>About you</b><b> </b></p><p>What we are looking for: </p><ul><li>Have a minimum of three years experience in industry in Electrical & Instrumentation. </li><li>Minimum level 2 Maths and English qualification</li> <li>Competent in domestic or industrial installation & maintenance, you will ideally hold your 18th Edition.
