We are proud to put our learners and partners at the heart of everything we do, cultivating opportunity that leads to success.</p> <p/> <p><b>About the role….</b></p> <p>We are seeking an Engagement and Delivery Officer to engage with learners who are facing challenges in their educational journey. You’ll take the time to understand their broader concerns and creating tailored interventions that empower them to succeed. You will deliver personalised one-on-one and small group sessions for learners aged 16 and above in Gateshead, fostering an environment that promotes progression in their learning.</p> <p/> <p>Collaboration will be key as you liaise with employers to encourage workplace experiences that enrich our learners' educational paths, including organising enrichment activities, careers fairs, and celebration events. You will work closely with managers, safeguarding officers, tutors, and support workers to gain insights into the needs of learners, ensuring that effective interventions are delivered. Your role will also involve guiding learners toward their next steps, whether that be further education or transitioning into the workforce and ensuring that this transition is seamless and successful.</p> <p/> <p>You will have the opportunity to establish and maintain strong partnerships with learners, communities, and employers to enhance participation and engagement. Collecting and reporting data on participation, success, and progression will be part of your responsibilities, as will contributing to our quality improvement systems and procedures.</p> <p>A commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment is essential, as is your dedication to high educational attainment through outstanding pastoral support.</p> <p/> <p>We are looking for someone with knowledge of anti-discriminatory practices and a strong understanding of adult learning and how it relates to work and life. Your experience in supporting adults in learning, acting on your own initiative, and working collaboratively within a team will be invaluable.</p> <p/> <p>You’ll hold either a level 3 qualification in teaching, support or similar, or have relevant experience.
