The department grows year on year and our curriculum for 2023/24 includes 31 courses for 400+ potential learners across 6 different sites. Foundations of Independent Living Foundations of Work Foundations of Study All of our courses use a mixture of traditional classroom-based lessons and project-based learning, to create a vibrant and engaging curriculum. Our team use their wider skill sets and work history to enhance the curriculum, ensuring that our students are skilled and employable people. We are looking for an experienced Job Coach to support the delivery of our Pre-Supported Internship programme. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with young adults with ALN and/or disabilities and possess the skills and qualities necessary to support young people into and during their internship. As well as working to directly support the learners’ success on placement, the Job Coach will liaise with host employers to plan appropriate training. This role will be vital in ensuring that young people leave their placements skilled and employable people. This role will offer the candidate the opportunity to develop their skills in a growing team recognised for their impact. The ability to communicate via the medium of Welsh is desirable for this role.
