About the role:We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Lecturer to join our team, focusing on teaching and supporting 16-18 years olds with their GCSE and Functional Skills qualification. The team is committed to instilling a love for mathematics and its practical applications, fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment for re-take students. You will be teaching GCSE and Functional Skills Mathematics at an educational premises in Stoke Newington as part of an initiative to provide educational support to young women from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will be working closely with the students in a more focused setting, providing tailored support to help them reach their potential. You will be based out our client's site in Stoke Newington making a real impact in a community setting, outside the traditional college environment. Our client works with young women from disadvantaged backgrounds in Hackney and Haringey creating a culturally appropriate support that overcome their barriers in education. About you: You will have experience teaching GCSE Maths and Functional Skills to 16-18 years. Due to the care, attention and safe environment of the client group we will only consider female applicants. Your responsibilities will include, closely monitoring student progress and evaluating results, ensuring meticulous tracking of each learner's journey.
