As a Head of Apprenticeships, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of Apprenticeship Programmes, promoting high standards in a positive and supportive culture that aspires to be outstanding. In the role of Head of Department your role responsibilities will also include being responsible for the quality of programme provision and to actively encourage excellence in teaching and to effectively manage a delegated budget. Up to date industry knowledge and a good understanding of current industry practices are essential requirements for this role. So too is a commitment to excellence, a focus on delivery and strategic understanding. To be successful in this role, you will ideally hold a degree level qualification and a recognised teaching qualification (DET/PGCE/CertEd).
