What You Will Do As the Head of Digital Industries you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing our Digital and IT programmes. This challenging yet fulfilling position requires determination, commitment, visibility and a proven track record of success in curriculum management within the Further Education sector. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational management and strategic planning of a wide range of Digital and IT programmes including 16- 19, Adults, Apprenticeships and employer led programmes. This role requires hands on leadership to drive the team to enhance the digital offering, supporting open events, interviews and ensuring success for our students Key Responsibilities include: Oversee the Digital and IT department, driving the development of a relevant and impactful curriculum. Provide evidence of proven success data, demonstrating a commitment to high standards and quality-driven outcomes. Lead initiatives that positively impact learner achievement and enhance the overall learner journey. Collaborate with the Management Team to shape and drive the college's offerings in Digital and IT Enhance the apprentice and employer experience through effective leadership and programme development. Take accountability for the effective and efficient management of budgetary responsibilities in accordance with the College’s financial regulations Lead and model outstanding teaching, learning and assessment All heads of department are required to be part of a rota for campus management. About You Recent experience in a key management position within the Further Education sector. A track record of successful curriculum management, ideally with experience in quality improvement in Digital and IT . Proven ability to provide direction and leadership that inspires confidence and commitment from others. Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships to drive continuous improvement.
