Role Purpose As a critical appointment to support shaping the future of the business, this senior role will be responsible for supporting the Executive Directors in achieving the highest level of outcomes for our clients. It is foreseen that the postholder will be integral to the growth of the business and the vision to be one delivery team across a range of funding streams that over delivers on client expectations. Key Responsibilities To oversee and take responsibility for the overall performance of delivery with a specific focus on Quality, Funding, Compliance and Customer Experience outcomes. To manage and be accountable for external audit, preparation for Ofsted and other quality monitoring activities, taking the role as Ofsted Nominee as needed and leading the organisation through ESFA Financial Audits or any other authoritative body that Dove Nest would be responsible for responding to. To provide a wealth and depth of knowledge to support the curriculum design to ensure that the provision remains compliant and fundable, but of the highest quality and value to the client. To support the Operations Director by enhancing and implementing a clear strategy for success in apprenticeship delivery. To deliver outstanding leadership skills to ensure that all apprentices achieve their maximum potential and that Dove Nest Group achieves its strategic aims for apprenticeships and any wider delivery. In conjunction with the Operations Director, to own the relationship with relevant End Point Assessment Organisation(s) to ensure that optimum working relationships are maintained and successful outcomes are evident. Completing and own both the Self-Assessment Report and process, as well as the Quality Improvement Plan and Strategy. To create and deliver an annual cycle and lead all quality activities, audits and evaluations, to ensure challenging expectations for all delivery is met and reported upon. To quality assure and hold to account all subcontracted provisions, providing a set of clear expectations so that the subcontractor adds value to the brand and outcomes. Maintain policies, processes and procedures for all apprenticeship programmes for the company in line with ESFA and OFSTED guidelines for apprenticeship levy funded training. Ensure that the company undertakes and records all appropriate enrolment, learning and completion evidence. To collect benchmarking data and evidence from a wide variety of sources, including the customer experience and destination, so that this can influence and support delivery improvements and recognition as part of an annual strategy. Ensure that all learners are assessed for, and have the opportunity to gain, the appropriate Level 2 functional skills, main aim qualifications, standards and/or frameworks to be considered for End Point Assessment (where appropriate) on their respective apprenticeship programme. To support the Operations Director to maintain and be accountable for the financial and commercial viability of the apprenticeship provision through Dove Nest Group, maximising profitability whilst optimising the quality of Dove Nest Group provision. To maintain a close relationship with employers at all stages of an apprenticeship programme to maximise the success rate of apprenticeship qualifications. To lead a team and ensure that the internal quality assurance strategy is applied to all learner portfolios throughout the apprenticeship programmes, both in a formative and summative process so that assessments are delivered to a high standard. To be familiar with Health & Safety, Child Protection and Data Protection policies and ensure that all requirements of these policies in relation to staff, associates and employer locations are followed and evidenced, and when necessary be a Designated Safeguarding officer To deliver Training & Development sessions as required for staff, employers and learners, ensuring all stakeholders are appropriately trained, consistent in their delivery and that all participants understand the responsibilities of attending levy funded apprenticeship programmes. Ensure that monthly management information both internally and externally to clients is available and reviewed. Support the Business Development function within named clients to enhance service offering. Experience Significant experience in leading Quality Assurance and compliance with an understanding and appreciation of a training provider environment. A knowledge and understanding of experiential Leadership training at all levels from graduate to board. An extensive knowledge of implementing, leading and delivering a comprehensive quality assurance process, compliance monitoring and extracting customer experience information to feed improvements for the future. Comprehensive experience of ILR funding and returns, with the ability to minimise errors, clawback and produce insightful data that can support retention and achievement. Gravitas - a proven track record of influencing at the highest level Natural leader with an ability to inspire performance with senior team members and influence change. Strong commercial outlook and an ability to see what really matters for the company. Exceptional interpersonal skills – we are a people business! The ability to establish long term working relationships and build these relationships to create optimum outcomes.
