WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for an Hourly Paid Mathematics Lecturer to cover the following classes: GCSE Maths HPL lecturer – Wednesday evenings. 2 hours (6-8pm) Sep 18th start date. GCSE English HPL lecturer – Tuesday evenings. 2 hours (6-8pm) Sep 17th start date. To become an Hourly Paid Mathematics Lecturer in our Inclusive Learning department, we are looking for someone who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment, supporting and inspiring students to achieve their best. This position is based in our Worcester campus, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other campuses or surrounding areas as required. In summary, as someone who has a recognised teaching qualification (or one must be obtained within a specified period), you will support in many aspects. To name a few: To work within the mathematics team to proactively raise learner aspirations and improve achievements for all learners from their starting points. To conduct initial and diagnostic assessments of all learners to determine starting points and develop learning plans to enable them to make progress from their starting points. To conduct milestone assessments and provide feedback within the agreed timescale, ensuring feedback supports learners to improve. ABOUT US.
