Salary range: £45,385 - £51,070 (starting salary dependent on experience)

About the Role:
COPC Is recruiting a HR Systems and Compliance Manager on a fixed term basis of 1 year to cover maternity leave. The role will be based at the Highbury Campus with regular cross campus travel.
The post holder will lead the Operations Team in the delivery of People Strategy ensuring compliance with all legislation and best practice around recruitment, onboarding, payroll entry and contractual.
Aswell as leading the HR Operations team, the HR Systems & Compliance Manager will lead the day to day running and development of the HR related systems, along with the provision of regular and ad hoc data to managers and employees across the College. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that HR systems are effectively maintained with accurate data and information in a timely manner, and information is stored, retained and managed securely and in accordance with the relevant College policies and procedures.
Previous experience of maintaining a HR and Payroll system is essential and experience with Zellis would be beneficial but not essential.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with KCSIE, Legislation and that policy and procedure is adopted correctly
- Oversight of recruitment and onboarding activity, including recruitment sign off process, contracts of employment and SCR
- Oversight of the starters / leavers and contract variations for payroll processing and monhly payroll sign off
- Update establishment documentation ensuring SMT have access to accurate data
- Lead on the system upgrades and implementation projects plan, ensuring timely completion and adoption
- Supporting the process of post and structure creation and change, monitoring and supporting the reporting process to ensure that the highest levels of data quality are maintained within the establishment.
- To undertake regular data audits and working with key stakeholders create action plans to address any issues
