We operate services across the Yorkshire and Warwickshire area that specialise in supporting adults with learning disabilities, Autism and complex trauma on their journeys through life and in the community. </p> <p>From transitioning from hospital to a safe new home, to fostering friendships and building skills, we offer a person-centred support, tailored to support individuals no matter their circumstances.</p> <p> At Millennium we champion our core values in everything we do – <b>With Not For, Developing Potential, Inclusive, Responsive & Making a Difference</b></p> <p/> <p><b>For this role, we will provide an </b><b>annual salary of up to £40,000</b><b> plus many more great benefits!</b></p> <p/> <p><b>What the role involves</b></p> <ul> <li>Lead on and develop our L&D plan, to ensure it aligns with Millennium’s goals, culture and business objectives.</li></ul> <ul><li>Leadership development and design including development programmes and talent potential process, create development pathways to support Millenniums value ‘developing potential’</li></ul> <ul><li>Ensuring our L&D policies and procedures are compliant with CQC requirements.</li></ul> <ul><li>Lead internal and external audit requirements in conjunction with our internal Q&C team, for L&D, to ensure our people are the best we can be</li></ul> <ul><li>Build a credible commercial offering to external networks, using our in-house trainers.</li></ul> <ul><li>Own and lead the L&D workstream on any proposed growth opportunities.</li></ul> <ul><li>Design and develop learning programmes, courses, workshops and learning materials using a variety of instructional techniques.</li></ul> <ul><li>Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs within the organisation.</li></ul> <ul><li>Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the L&D field. Leverage learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, virtual training tools, and other digital resources to enhance the learning experience and accessibility.</li></ul> <ul><li>Collaborate with department heads, managers, and HR to determine the specific training requirements for various job roles.</li></ul> <p/> <p><b>What we are looking for</b></p> <ul> <li>Someone who has a passion for developing the potential of others.</li></ul> <ul><li>Able to role model and demonstrate and lead on the values, initiatives, and culture of the organisation.</li></ul> <ul><li>A CIPD Level 5 qualification in Learning & Development or equivalent qualification.</li></ul> <ul><li>3 years of experience in and L&D leadership role within the Health & Social Care sector.</li></ul> <ul><li>Experience of working in a people facing role within a Health and Social Care environment.</li></ul> <ul><li>Ability to analyse learning needs and manage projects.</li></ul> <ul><li>Someone who holds a full UK driving license.</li></ul> <p/> <p>If you think you are the perfect fit and are passionate about fulfilling lives and developing potential, we would love to hear from you!</p> <p/> <p><b>This is a hybrid role that requires 2 days of work from any of our services or offices in Wakefield or Coventry</b></p> <p/> <p><b>We welcome applications from a very diverse range of people who have the right to work in the UK.
