Role Summary: The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist will be responsible for managing the administrative aspects of our L&D activities while also taking a proactive role in learning design and delivery. The successful candidate will be a detailed oriented and data drive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the strategic development of our L&D products. Key Responsibilities Administrative management: Oversee the administrative tasks related to L&D activities including scheduling and coordinating events Manage the administration and optimisation of the LMS by curating, assigning and promoting learning opportunities to our people as well as meeting any reporting requirements Be the first point of contact for all L&D queries including invoice administration Learning design and delivery: Carry out effective needs analyses to ensure learning interventions align with individual and team objectives Collaborate with others to design and deliver engaging learning materials and resources Facilitate any internal training as may be required Advisory and consultation: Act as a trusted advisor for our people, facilitating career development conversations and offering expert advice to support personal development and growth Serve as an ambassador of the L&D function, promoting our services for learning and continuous improvement Own specific learning products from strategy, stakeholder engagement, communication, design, implementation, evaluation to data management Support the procurement of L&D service provision and supplier relationships as appropriate Data and reporting: Prepare and present data on learning activities and outcomes to demonstrate effectiveness of learning products Monitor the L&D budget and manage reporting and spend, ensuring a return on investment on learning products Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in L&D Stay abreast of key L&D trends, bringing in new insights on the way we develop our people Skills Knowledge and Expertise Experience working in an L&D team in either an Advisor or Specialist capacity Practical experience administrating a Learning Management System (LMS) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good understanding of L&D models and frameworks Data driven mindset with the ability to analyse and report on trends and spending Attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Pragmatic and flexible style, able to build trust and relationships effectively Positive and proactive attitude towards getting things done during period of change and ambiguity Appetite for innovation, continuous improvement and automation where appropriate to improve internal efficiency and customer experience Employee Benefits As if contributing to and supporting work that makes life better for millions wasn’t rewarding enough, we offer a full range of benefits too.
