Are you looking for a teaching role where you have planning time built into your working day and where there is a reduced need to plan from home? If so, the Learning Support Specialist role might be for you.
We are looking for a proactive and caring professional to provide 1:1 or small group study skills support to learners with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and autistic spectrum, supporting their literacy, numeracy, organisational skills etc.
You will be working as part of an outstanding cross-college team of Learning Support Specialists, in-class Learning Assistants and SpLD Assessors. These roles will require you to work closely with Tutors and Subject Lecturers to help our students succeed in their main programme of study.
This is an exciting, challenging and varied role that will suit an experienced teaching professional who is able to work on their own initiative as well as being a team player. If providing learners the opportunity to achieve in education is the role for you, please apply via the Exeter College website.
