The Role
The Automotive Academy provides qualifications to over 200 students studying Entry level to Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualifications . The role will involve teaching across a range of ages including study programme and apprentice learners as well as to our adult cohort. The successful applicant will also be expected to support the full learner journey including pastoral care, enrichment, careers, information advice and guidance and upskilling in English and Maths.
You will join an experienced and high performing team, with a wealth of experience in both the Automotive industry and the Further Education sector.

- Encouraging. This role will involve encouraging a range of students, some who may have barriers to learning, to achieve success in their chosen career, ensuring they feel motivated, respected and valued.
- Organising: The candidate will need to have proven ability to structure and organise workload with self-discipline, planning and consideration.
- Delivering: experience of managing and taking ownership over tasks and taking initiative
- Driving: experience of working as a team to set and achieve immediate and future targets, to ensure students meet their potential. Motivated to set challenging targets to ensure the department focuses on continuous improvement.
