We're recruiting for a
Lecturer - Construction Built Environment to join our team on a variable hours contract of up to 10.5 hpw, on a fixed-term basis to July 2025.
In return, we will offer a competitive salary of £13.29 - £23.21 per hour inclusive of London Weighting, plus accrued holiday allowance of 12.07% per hour.

Key Responsibilities Of Our Lecturer - Construction Built Environment
- Plan and develops lessons, including the development of schemes of work
- Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with focus on constructive and development feedback for our students
- Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students
- Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standard in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply
- Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsbilities for designated students in order to support them int heir own development and future progression
- Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students
- Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector
Our ideal Lecturer - Construction Built Environment should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Possess a teaching qualification, PGCE or similar, or be prepared to undertake a further education teaching qualification
- Have a degree or equivalent qualification in the subject relevant to the course to be delivered
- Have recent and relevant experience of teaching subject to learners from Entry Level to Level 5.
All applicants should have good administrative skills and be able to accurately track students' attendance, progress and achievements.
