We are an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training with campuses in Coalville, Melton Mowbray and Brooksby. We are looking for an Engineering Lecturer with the ability to deliver an array of engineering skills, knowledge and related behaviours in our engineering provision. Delivery may be to students on our study programmes including T-levels, on commercial courses or delivering on our apprenticeship programmes. You may currently be working in an engineering setting looking for your first job in teaching. If your skills and experience include working within the engineering sector using new technologies, we would like to hear from you. We would like a lecturer with a passion for Engineering and innovation who will bring new ideas to the directorate and embed new technologies into the learning environment. Working as part of the engineering team you will be responsible for the delivery and development of courses. You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of engineering and be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques. We hope to add value to our team during this process taking on a person with a passion to share their engineering knowledge and experience with others. Who has worked with new cutting-edge technologies throughout their careers, who would like to support the SMB Groups engineering provision to continually improve year on year by offering what our customers what they require exceeding their expectations. As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also be willing to obtain a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) if you do not already possess one.
