Role: GCSE English Lecturer
Hours:17.5 per week (0.5 FTE)
Salary:£16,189.50 - £23,007 pro rata (£32,379 - £46,014 Full time equivalent salary)
Employer Pension Contribution: 28.68% (£9,286.30 - £13,196.82 FTE).
Location: Stockport Campus (although requirements across the Group may require cover at other sites)
The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Lecturer to join the English Department to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.
The Job:
You will deliver outstanding courses using a diverse range of teaching and learning strategies. You will provide learners with an exceptional educational experience enabling them to maximise their potential.
To teach the standard curriculum of GCSE English to 16-18 learners and Part-Time Adult groups. Recent and relevant experience of teaching GCSE English / Functional Skills English (preferably in a GFE context but relevant Secondary school experience also valid) would be advantageous. We also welcome applications from recently qualified NQTs with English as a specialism.
