This encompasses developing and delivering well-structured lessons that cater to various learning styles, employing a variety of teaching methodologies, and ensuring that all learners grasp fundamental mathematical concepts. Additionally, mathematics lecturers play a crucial role in supporting students' academic progress by setting achievable goals, providing regular feedback, and assisting with revision and exam preparation. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance is also an essential aspect of the job, as it enables lecturers to track individual growth and identify areas for improvement. Moreover, mathematics lecturers collaborate effectively with colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment that maximizes student success.</p> <p><b>About You</b></p> <ul><li>Teaching qualification (Certificate of Education, PGCE or equivalent).</li> <li>Able to evidence successful experience of teaching Functional Skills maths and GCSE Maths.</li> <li>Be able to demonstrate the ability to develop, plan, deliver and evaluate high quality, motivational and inclusive maths/numeracy learning experiences.</li> <li>Able to keep to deadlines and capable of managing his/her own time effectively and efficiently.</li> </ul> <p><b>Wirral Metropolitan College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
