About The Role
Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering is a strategic priority and key growth area within the college. Our delivery includes study programmes, adult and commercial provision at our centres including Ashington, Kirkley Hall campus. Due to significant growth and investment within Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and exciting partnership delivery we are looking to growth the size and skills within our team
About The Candidate
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative individual to join our team and to engage with and inspire a new generation of Engineers to support positive student experience, progress and destination. The appointment will offer the opportunity to play a key role in driving forward quality Engineering provision reflective of the highest industry practice and standards. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, qualified engineer with industry level skills, experience and expertise. Candidates should be educated to at least HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline. We also welcome applications from newly qualified Engineering graduates.
About The College
Northumberland College is the only college in the county serving, the communities of Northumberland, offering a diverse curriculum offer from Entry level to Level 6, discrete SEND provision and Apprenticeships. We have three campuses from Berwick near the Scottish Border, Ashington and Kirkley Hall, close to Ponteland and in May 2022, Ofsted rated as a Good provider with Outstanding Personal Development, and are the top Performing Land based College in the Northeast. Over recent years, the College has invested over £14million in new facilities at its sites, including a £2.5 million STEM Centre at its Ashington campus and our Ashington campus will be home to the first pathfinder Gen zero FE College in the UK in 2025/2026
