Specialising in land-based, technical, trade and creative arts, we provide an extensive curriculum from Agriculture to Animal Care, Construction to Sport, Hair & Beauty to Care. We are an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training with campuses in Coalville, Melton Mowbray and Brooksby. SMB College Group work with some fantastic industry partners to ensure they provide the skills needed now and in the future. </p><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen at the College for a Construction Trades Lecturer to join the team based in Coalville with the ability to deliver across the full range of the department's provision. You may currently be working in a Trades setting looking for your first job in teaching. You will have a passion for innovation, bringing new ideas and embedding new technologies into the learning environment. </p><p>Working as part of the Construction team you will be responsible for the delivery and development of courses. </p><p>As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also be willing to obtain a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) if you do not already possess one. </p><p>In return, you can expect the opportunity to work with an organisation that is committed to the ongoing development of its people.
