You will join us on a <strong>part-time, fixed term basis (23 hours per week, 52 weeks per year).</strong> In return, we will offer a competitive salary <strong>p</strong><strong>ro rata of £26,451 - £41,247 per annum (i.e. £16,442.51- £25,630.03).</strong></p> <p><strong>The Chichester College Group </strong>is the largest provider of further education in Sussex and is comprised of 7 Colleges based at Chichester, Crawley, Worthing, Northbrook, Haywards Heath, Brighton Metropolitan and Brinsbury near Pulborough which is land-based. Through our colleges, we educate and train around 25,000 full and part-time students every year and provide teaching excellence to meet the future needs of the region's employers.</p> <p><strong>The Lecturer Foundation Programmes role:</strong></p> <p><strong>Are you passionate about delivering a curriculum that develops learners’ independence skills and increases employment opportunities?</strong></p> <p>Our Foundation Learning Curriculum area is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join the team and support and teach a variety of topics to our learners.</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring, dynamic and committed Lecturer who has relevant experience of supporting learners with additional needs within the subject area and can use this to deliver high quality and challenging learning experiences.</p> <p><strong>As our</strong><strong>Lecturer Foundation Programmes you will be required to:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Undertake teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.</li><li>Ensure that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.</li><li>Undertake administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.</li><li>Take an active role in the achievement of high individual student retention and success rates, meeting or surpassing the relevant targets for each.</li><li>Develop curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration literacy and numeracy development, and equality and diversity.</li><li>Understand personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.</li><li>Keep up-to-date with current issues, changes, and policies relating to the educational sector.</li><li>Participate in marketing activities and promote the College for the purpose of gaining sponsorship, advertising, good public relations and increased recruitment.</li></ul> <p>The post-holder will be motivated, enthusiastic and a strong team player who strives to deliver the best possible outcomes for our learners.
