Lecturer in Business Salary Unqualified: £27,750 - £29,400 per annum (pro rata) Qualified: £30,274 - £35,033 per annum (pro rata) Hours 26 hours per week, all year round Contract Permanent Location Peterborough College We are seeking to recruit a dynamic Lecturer to join our Business team. To provide teaching, learning and assessment to learners and students across a range of levels within the subject areas from Entry to Higher Education, depending on the needs of the faculty (Level 1 to 4) Working closely with our team of dedicated staff, the successful candidate will contribute effectively to the successful learning experiences of students in the College through effective teaching that meets or exceeds College standards and results in high levels of student retention and achievement. We’re looking for someone with a Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent), Degree or HND qualification and comprehensive, recent industrial experience. You must hold a teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or display a willingness to work towards the Level 5 Diploma teaching qualification (supported by CPD) upon being appointed. The successful candidate must have experience of delivering lessons at a standard of 'Good' or above, possess excellent communication skills and be highly motivated to provide an outstanding service to our learners. You must have proven awareness and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Flexibility and ability to adapt towards different learner needs is also essential to the role. Finally, you will have the proven ability to work successfully and influentially as part of a team and experience of organising, managing and delivering learning opportunities in Business.
