Chichester College is seeking a Lecturer in these essential subjects to join our fantastic faculty and help <strong>shape our students’ future careers</strong>.</p> <p>As a Lecturer in Business, Accounting and Finance you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our engaged students. <strong>Your expertise and enthusiasm will ignite their passion for the Business, Accounting and Finance sector, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in these industries.</strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities of our</strong><strong>Lecturer in Business, Accounting and Finance<strong>:</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li>Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.</li><li>Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.</li><li>Undertaking administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.</li><li>Taking an active role in the achievement of high individual student retention and success rates, meeting or surpassing the relevant targets for each.</li><li>Developing curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration literacy and numeracy development, and equality and diversity.</li><li>Understanding personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.</li><li>Keeping up-to-date with current issues, changes, and policies relating to the educational sector.</li><li>Participating in marketing activities and promote the College for the purpose of gaining sponsorship, advertising, good public relations and increased recruitment.</li><li>Undertaking the delivery of literacy and numeracy.</li></ul> <p><strong>Our ideal Lecturer in Business, Accounting and Finance should have the below skills and experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree or Professional qualification in a Business related subject e.g. AAT/ACCA</li><li>Knowledge of Edexcel / T level or AAT Specifications</li><li>Experience in commercial experience in Business, Finance or accounting</li><li>Experience teaching and assessing Business, Finance or accounting learners</li><li>The ability to work alone and as part of a team with interpersonal skills</li></ul> <p><strong>Closing date: </strong>21st October 2024</p> <p><strong>Interview date: </strong>4th November 2024</p> <p><strong>The Chichester College Group</strong> has seven colleges, Anglia Examinations, First Steps Childcare Group, Chichester English School and 2,600 staff spread across West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.
