About The Role As a Lecturer in Maintenance/Construction, your role is to plan and deliver engaging teaching experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our students. Your expertise in Maintenance/Construction will be at the heart of our curriculum, ensuring that students gain the practical skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the industry. Your teaching day would typically Include 1 session of classroom-based theory and 3 sessions of workshop practical for Apprentices. For full-time students, it would typically include 6 hrs of workshop practical training and 4 hrs of classroom-based theory. Providing the underpinning support and guidance that will help students fulfil their potential to improve their skills, knowledge and achieve their qualifications with the aim of linking fulltime students to apprenticeships in the industry. Support students of vocational subjects in making sure that numeracy, literacy and tutorial sessions are attended and you will support them to engage. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excelling working relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders both internally and externally.
