An exciting opportunity has arisen at the College for a Motor Vehicle and Landbased Engineering Lecturer to join the team based at Brooksby. The successful candidate would have the ability to deliver across the full range of the department's provision. You may currently be working in an engineering setting looking for your first job in teaching. You will have a passion for innovation, bringing new ideas and embedding new technologies into the learning environment. Working as part of the engineering team you will be responsible for the delivery and development of courses. You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of engineering and be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques. We hope to add value to our team during this process taking on a person with a passion to share their engineering knowledge and experience with others. Who has worked with new cutting edge technologies throughout their careers, who would like to support the SMB Groups engineering provision to continually improve year on year by offering what our customers what they require exceeding their expectations. As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also be willing to obtain a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) if you do not already possess one.
