This post will be based across campuses. </div> <div> <b> Responsibilities include:</b> </div> <ul> <li>Identification of learning needs including the needs of those with learning difficulties or disabilities</li> <li>Producing learning plans that address the issues of individual learning, learning through experience and group learning</li> <li>Producing teaching and learning materials that engage learners and reinforce learning</li> <li>Ensuring an interactive, safe and productive learning environment that fosters learners’ security and confidence Identifying and addressing poor motivation and challenging inappropriate behaviour</li> <li>Contributing to the design and implementation of induction procedures</li> <li>Informing students of their entitlements and details of how to access services available to them</li> <li>Identifying an appropriate range of assessment methods that will deliver fair, valid and reliable results</li> <li>Ensuring equal opportunity in the design and application of assessment procedures</li> <li>Participate in team and committee meetings</li> <li>Assist with Curriculum development, which may include identification of consumer requirements, planning, and development of courses and course materials</li> <li>Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.</li> </ul> <div> Additional responsibilities are included in the attached job description. </div> <div> To be eligible to apply for this role you will need to have a level 3 vocational qualification in Carpentry/Joinery trade and have current trade assessor status or be able to provide evidence of appropriate occupational competence (relevant to awarding bodies requirements). </div><br/> <div/> <div> Applications are to be made using the Cardiff and Vale College application form only.
